Put on Your Dancing Shoes

No partner needed! Registration is not required!
Come learn community and partner dance styles In this series of classes designed for beginners! Dancers will just need to bring comfortable shoes and a willing attitude. The first rule of dance is to have fun!

This class will feature two folk dances: the Pattycake Polka and the Broomstick Polka. These two styles are “mixers”  - dances usually scheduled for the beginning of an evening ball because they are good for getting to know people in casual but intentional way. Danced in a community setting, these Polkas encourage camaraderie among members and built trust between strangers who might become partners for future dances or events.
